One of my favorite places to shop for rugs is Rugs USA. They are super affordable, ship quickly, and come in a million different sizes and shapes to fit perfectly with what you’re looking for. It’s my go to place when I know I’m looking for a specific vibe because they have so many options.
I also really appreciate their site experience – you can sort easily by what style, size or color family you’re looking for. You can also “see it in your space” by uploading a photo of your room. This really helped me when I was finding the right rug for my living room. One option I was loving seemed to be too blue!
A few of my favorite neutral rugs from Rugs USA:
You’ve probably seen this grey trellis rug… including in my own apartment! It’s a favorite for good reason, neutral enough with a little bit of pattern. It’s not super thick, so I’m not sure I’d choose it for a nursery, but I know many people who have!
This rug just looks so COZY. I think it would be an amazing option for a nursery, but also a great fit for any place you want to feel soft under your feet, like in a bedroom. Some of the reviews complain about the shedding, but will a thick wool rug, it’s to be expected. Something to keep in mind though if you think it’ll bother you.
Ivory Floral Ornament Area Rug
I love a more traditional ornamental rug – I just feel like it never goes out of style. This one is in a cool tone ivory/grey and I think would fit so many styles in a living room or bedroom. As with most of the Rugs USA rugs… this isn’t a super thick high quality piece, but in my opinion still gets the job done swimmingly. I also love that the pattern is faded in spots and it has a lot of dimension – I also think it’s so helpful for not showing stains!
The texture on this one would add such great dimension to any room. I love the weaving on it. Based on the reviews it seems to be a little more yellow in person than in the professional photos – so check out the customer photos for a second look before you buy!
This sisal rug with the black border just looks so CHIC. I would love to see this in a beautiful entry way. As with most inexpensive sisal rugs… it’s rough on the feet and there are going to be some imperfections in the weave. I still think it’s worth including in my list – for the right place in your home!
