It’s no secret that I love a good deep clean, and Spring is the perfect excuse to get it done. While I would love to get all of my Spring Cleaning done in one glorious, productive weekend, it’s honestly better to break it up room by room.

Below is my obsessive compulsive list of things to clean, in case you have any things  you want to add to your own list!

MY BEDROOM

• Dust ceiling fan
• Clean bugs out of the ceiling lights
• Remove dust from walls
• Dust blinds
• Dust window grooves
• Spray down windows
• Wipe standing mirror
• Dust shelves, dresser, desk, bedside table
• Deodorize and rotate mattress
• Wash all bedding and pillows
• Dust along baseboards
• Organize under bed
• Vacuum/ spot treat rug

MY CLOSET

• Put away winter clothes (donate anything you didn’t wear)
• Dry clean and store winter jackets
• Pull out summer clothes
• Wipe down and organize shelves

MY BATHROOM

• Proactively drano shower drain
• Clean shower
• Dust walls in bathroom
• Wipe mirror, sink and shelves
• Wash all linens and replace shower curtain liner
• Clean toilet
• Clean make up brushes
• Clean floor

LIVING ROOM

• Dust ceiling fan
• Dust walls
• Wipe down all art
• Dust or take down and soak blinds
• Clean window panes
• Dust window grooves
• Move furniture to dust/vacuum underneath, getting into all the corners
• Dust/clean furniture (side tables, bar cart, coffee table, TV stand)
• Wipe down TV
• Tighten bolts of furniture
• Dust baseboards
• Vacuum rug
• Steam mop the floor
• Switch out seasonal decor
• Add soil/fertilizer to plants

KITCHEN

• Dust ceiling fan
• Dust walls
• Clean windows and blinds
• Wipe down all art
• Clean outside of cabinets
• Clean inside of cabinets and drawers
• Throw out gross or unmatching tupperware
• Clean sink
• Clean microwave
• Clean stove
• Clean oven
• Clean out fridge
• Clean out and organize pantry
• Wash trash bin
• Dust and mop floors

PORCH

• Sweep
• Put out porch furniture

CAR

• Vacuum
• Car wash
• Tire cleaner
• Clean glass inside
• Clean out trunk

DIGITAL/PAPERWORK

• Clean out digital photos
• Physical photo and file backup
• Cloud back up
• Clean out “to file” drawer
• Delete emails
